How to Automate the Smart GWT
Testing
3.1. Work
with HP Extensibility Accelerator 1.10
- Open the HP Extensibility Accelerator
- To create a new empty project, select File > New > Project, and use the Web Add-in Extensibility template
available in the New Project dialog box that opens specify the name of
the project and save.

- Click on add new control + button

- Specify the control name, description.
- Choose the Class type : Base class and Generic Type
- Select the Map to Controls option.

- Open the Application
-
- Click on the Select control button
-
- Mouse over the Smart GWT control and click on the
control.
- Select the Create Rule button displaying on the top.
- Select the Properties option available in the left
side.
- Add property name by using the + sign.
- Save the project from file menu.
- Go to the Project menu => Deploy => Deploy the
Quicktest Professional
- One confirmation message would comes.
3.2. Work
with HP QTP with web add-in of Extensibility Accelerator
- Open the smart GWT application
- Open the QTP.
- Record / capture the smart GWT control.
- Execute the QTP test
